Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Lampeter-Strasburg School District.
All volunteers must be recommended by the Building Principal, Athletic Director, or Activity Director. Upon receipt of the recommendation, you will be contacted by a District representative.
You will be required to provide the following information:
Following receipt and review of these items, you will be provided with documents to finalize your volunteer status. All volunteers must be approved by the School Board.
The supervisor of the program that oversees/facilitates the relationship with the independent contractor will notify the HR Department whenever an agreement is (1) initiated between the District and the independent contractor or (2) there is a change in the employees that are assigned to Lampeter-Strasburg School District.
The supervisor/facilitator will provide the HR Department with contact information for the Independent Contractor.
The HR Department will issue the INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR AUTHORIZATION FORM to the Independent Contractor to complete, attach required paperwork, and return to the HR Department.
The HR Department will notify the supervisor/facilitator when the authorization form and required paperwork has been received, reviewed, and has determined that it is complete in accordance with Act 114 requirements. The independent contractor should not begin their contract with the Lampeter-Strasburg School District until this determination has been made by the HR Department.
