BASR enables security interests to be registered under section 427 of the Bank Act across Canada. BASR provides 24/7/365 online and in-person service provision with a range of online submission and search capabilities for customers.

Important Updates

To enhance search accuracy, BASR has removed the “similar search” option from our platform and encourages users to utilize the “starts with” and “exact” search functionalities. The “starts with” search finds results that begin with specific letters or words, while “exact” search shows results that precisely match the entered query.

  • in-person paper requests for searches, copies, and registration of NOI/COR and submission to the Central Processing Facility (CPF) for data entry and fulfilment
  • in-person customer requests available for pick-up at the office location where forms were submitted
  • in-person services cannot:
    • examine or process any submission, inclusive of all transaction types including submissions for registration, amendments, error corrections, Annual Renewal, etc.
    • accept, receive or submit payments on behalf of customers

    Mises à jour Importantes

    Pour améliorer la précision des recherches, BASR a supprimé l'option « similaire » de notre plateforme et encourage les utilisateurs à utiliser les fonctions de recherche « commence par » et « correspondance exacte ». La recherche « commence par » permet de trouver des résultats qui commencent par des lettres ou des mots spécifiques, tandis que la recherche « correspondance exacte » affiche des résultats qui correspondent précisément à la requête saisie.
